Garden Heart is the new album from eminent ambient artist We Dream of Eden (Kirk Smith).

Following on from his 2021 full-length album Deeper Still and 2022 EP Holocene (with Dear Gravity), this new release is an exploration of both springtime and the realities of growing as a person. This juxtaposition of the ‘lightness’ of spring with the depth of inner development is beautifully woven into the multi-textured compositions that have come to define We Dream of Eden’s unique style.

Throughout Garden Heart, subtle field recordings combine with organic instruments (including piano and strings), voices and electronic elements to create a truly immersive record.

The music of We Dream of Eden has been described as “a place to think, a place to breathe, a place to dream” (Rural Sounds) and has been featured on a wide variety of Spotify editorial playlists, including Stress Relief, Lava Lamp, and Music for Plants.

Garden Heart will be released on 20th May 2022 on Echoes Blue Music.
